Nice place for a walk; really appreciated the restored prairie
Great place to explore. There is a natural play area with a slide, lots of scrap wood for building, shovels to dig with, drums and other instruments to play on. Not your normal play ground with swings. There are also multiple trails including two that bring you down to the Shiawassee River and another that brings you along the edge of farmland. There are also different events through the year and crafts for kids. A great place to spend some time in nature.
This is a great place to being your family or have a quiet walk. There are programs for all ages and the staff is a amazing!
Natures get a way, right in our own back yard. Thank you DeVries for setting aside peaceful paths to contemplate the value of Life.
I don't have a picture of this sadly but when I was there for the Christmas thing last year I saw two men,who looked to be workers holding a cat over a fence by its tail
