I went in to the Art Van Clearance Center to purchase a desk chair. I was greeted courteously at the door. The clerk helped me find what I was looking for. Great customer service. I ordered a chair online so will not comment on the chair until it arrives
I spent 2 hours trying out mattresses and Julie, the sales person working with me was patient and very helpful to make sure I got the right mattress for my body and my budget. I was dreading having to try out mattresses but Julie made the whole experience very enjoyable. I am very happy with my purchase and was very happy with the customer service. A store I once would probably not go into, is definitely now my first stop for new furniture.
Ordered six chairs through Art Van's online site. Customer service was excellent, originally I gave five stars.
I then purchased four more chairs of a different type of over the phone with a customer service representative. I asked her right then if I did not like them after seeing them if I could bring them back. She said as long as I have the receipt. This was the end of our conversation. Chairs arrived and I was not happy with the feel of the fabric and how uncomfortable they were at my dining room table.
I have a great experience everytime I go into the Art Van in Owosso!! Julie is amazing and so helpful. Ask for Julie. Never pushy and she will go above and beyond to help you find exactly what you are looking for!
Sales staff polite and courteous. No high pressure sales yet very informative. Overall experience very good. Just wish I didn’t have to wait so long for my furniture delivery
I will now have to make my furniture purchases down the road from Art Van.
Two weeks have past and I called the Art Van store to see how I go about returning these chairs and purchasing others and the manager came on the phone and let me know that if I would have brought them back within a week they would accept them without a restocking fee of 25%. That would be $43! May not seem like a lot, but around Christmas it is to me and my family.
Never once did the sales associate tell me about the 7 day free return. Nor the 25% restocking fee. Since I made the purchase over the phone I did not receive the invoice that may have told me of their policy. If so I would have returned them sooner.
I can say up until this point I have given five stars for the various purchases that I have in the past few years.
