Very helpful but expensive
Everyone in this place is very friendly. Biggest problem with this place, is you go in to either grab something quick, or to walk around and end up BSing with the friendly staff and getting shown the musuem in the back and spending way more time then you had planned on. I reccomend you stop by amd say hi forsure!
Great quality bike and parts. A little pricey but the quality reflects the price.
Bought my first road bike here, knowledge workers.
I went into House of Wheels about 2 months ago looking for my first adult bike. I had never been properly sized before and was looking for a road bike. The first day I went in I spoke with a younger guy and he showed me my options. I told him thanks and wanted to take a night to consider the price. He told me that any of the road bikes on a certain rack were all $500. I came in the next day expecting to buy one of these bike but that day I spoke with a different person. He was an older gentleman and I assumed was the owner. He pulled down a 54cm bike to which I found was a little too big so he said he was going to look and see if he had a 50. He went behind the counter and took a look. He said he didn't have any in stock and said "better luck next time". Better luck next time? Who says that when they are trying to sell a customer something? He asked for my phone number and said he would give me a call if they got one in. Being 2 months later and still no call I can only assume they haven't got one in yet. It's a shame because I like to buy local when I can but this time I just couldn't bring myself to do it because of the terrible service. Only reason I am giving a 2 star is because the younger guy I spoke with originally actually did care and try to help me out. I just can't recommend going to House of Wheels. Shame.
